| [Brief Description] | The M8-Collector edition was released by Arrow Shark at year 2015, since then, it has been on our top-sales products list! However, properly setup the steering function for the M8-collector edition has always been a big challenge for customers as the M8-Collector edition is using soft cable steering connection which is always more difficult to set up compared to the steel rod setup, because the cable wire end is easy to get split out during installation, but, is no longer the issue, the Steering-X is the key to this long stand challenge!
The Steering-X is specially designed to adapt to the M8-Collector edition steering function, making the steering setup in the collector edition has ever been so easy before! The Steering-X is constructed with a CNC gearbox and integrated 10 bearings for smooth power transfer, it converts the soft cable into the steel rod via the gears and makes the linkage straight to the servos, as well as effectively transfers the power from the high-torque servos to the M8’s Hydraulic steering rod for the precise steering control. The cable adaptor in the Steering-X has a unique design of self-lock function, it will never split the cable wire, and easy to adjust the cable tension, each adaptor could hold over 30KG pulling force from the cable without failure! The CNNC push-rod adaptor arm in the kit is very flexible with height position adjustment to suit different applications. The Steering-X suits both single M8 or twin M8 setups, it works perfectly with our E-station kit and the servo tie-bar kit for easy installation, which can be purchased separately from our other web page, for the steering servos, we recommend using two of 20kg metal gear servos for the single M8 setup, and using two 30-35kg servos for twin M8 set up. |
