| [Brief Description] | GTM-D2L gear box is what we specially developed to work with the RC Boat’s drive set up that requires two identical rotating direction output drives; such as twin ultra-jet drives set up, it will be able to spin either clockwise or counter-clockwise according to the input shaft rotating direction. The GTM-D2L gear box has a 1/4 inches square collet input which will be able to accept any gas engines up to 60cc with a short version of flexible shaft that has one 1/4” square end; it will as well work with any electric motor.
The main components of GTM-D2L gear box are precision-engineered and manufactured with up-to-date CNC technology; it has a lustrous external finish whilst careful internal machining of any low-stress areas has removed surplus metal and reduced any unnecessary weight to reach its unmatched performance and provides sufficient room for the lubrication oil. All drive shafts made of high quality stainless steel to prevent the corrosive and rusty, GTM-D2L comes with three detachable shaft collets also made of stainless steel, and the flexible shaft for the connection between engine and GTM-D2L shaft input, The two output collets will accept any 1/4 inches (6.35mm) diameter flexible shaft. The gears inside the box has lighten hollowing out design and manufactured with technology of compacting process of powder metallurgy the same technology used for gears in full size automotive transmissions, the new gears delivers more rigidity and much lighter in weight compare to the machined version gears, and these gears were supported by total 8 heavy-duty ball bearings via the harden drive shafts, this results in ultra-smooth operation and enable to handle any gas or electric motor over 15HP with up to 25000RPM+ without failure. The GTM-D2L Will suit both Gas Engine and Electric Brushless Motor with any mono hull application from 55 inches up to 75 inches. GTM-D2L Gear Box will be shipped to you fully assembled and ready for installation into your next gas boat project. Please Note: The Gear Box will be shipped to you without pre-filling the lubrication oil; you will need to fill the lubrication oil after you receive it. Any brand of 4 stoke oil or gear oil will work and you will need to fill around 5-6cc at first time, and refill around 1-2cc after 10 hours of use. |
